Dr. BriggsFinished with a short horror script... hopefully going to start filming soon
#1
As most of you know, being a filmmaker is my probably my biggest aspiration... this makes it all the more special that I have finally finished another screenplay.

It's a short one (35 pages), and pretty straightforward (Either horror scenes or guys yelling at each other), but I honestly think it could make something solid if I am as good of a director as I think I might be Wink . I'm hoping to think up some more good stories and make it an anthology, though I haven't been able to come up with any more scary, workable ideas yet.

For those curious, the story concerns a businessman hitting rock-bottom in the middle of an open road when he is suddenly menaced by a feral homeless kid. The two attempt to survive and one-up one another, only to then both be chased by yet another psycho: a sword-wielding monster of a man.
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

Damn sounds badass

Now, remember: you don't aim a gun at a man unless you intend to shoot him. And, you don't shoot a man unless you intend to kill him. No warning shots. Hey, you listening to me? No warning shots. Warning shots are bullshit. You shoot to kill, or you don't shoot at all.

Hope you don't mind a newbie chiming in . . . .

From one writer to another: This sounds fantastic, Mr. Briggs! Best of luck with it, man.

I don't mind, we've needed newbies chiming in in general for about a month now XD, and I can definitely take input, especially positive input from more experienced writers!
