What's the news on this? I think it could be great :/ . I vote for a panel of judges, so we don't have to worry about few people voting (as there'd be a select group "voting" anyhow), the timeframe they'd vote IN, and there could be the added bonus of constructive criticism.

I still needed at least three more participants and another judge. I didn't want to do it if we didn't have enough people. 9-10 seems like the best amount of participants to shoot for.
