Dr. BriggsSyFy's 31 days of Halloween
#1
Most people who have followed the channel for a long time know the former SciFi network's film broadcasting variety (not to mention quality) is BS, however, if you know the right times you can find some objects of interest, especially since this is the month of October.

This month SyFy's "31 days of Halloween" offers not only a generous offering of horror-related TV series but also some highly-dubious films you may have passed over in the past. It's no goldmine of horror (in fact, not even all the films could be considered horror), but some films could very well be good time-wasters if you haven't seen them already (I was somewhat surprised by some of the films last night).

To browse through the schedule - Schedule | Syfy
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

Hell yeah! First movie I saw on the schedule was Critters. I'm there this month!

Critters is fucking bad ass. I've been tuning into SyFy to check out what they have going on. This is one thing I love about October, all the scary movies come on TV. Even if I have them on VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray I will still watch them when they're on tv.

Oh Syfy, constantly languishing in the shadows of your dreams... Their TV shows are all right, but for some reason their original films just blow.
All glory to the hypnotoad!
