Proud to be a Gordonite I am! FUCK those who say you can't survive mass blood loss in a horror film that thrives on it's many subplots for story ideas! ;D
DOC-TOR GOR-DON! *clap clap clapclapclap*
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

We've been hearing rumors that both Cary Elwes and Monica Potter would be returning in Lionsgate's Saw 3D - the seventh film in the franchise - but haven't been able to get any surefire confirmation. This evening Lionsgate released the "revealed" cast listing, which confirms that Elwes will in fact be returning as Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the Kevin Greutert directed sequel penned once again by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. Still no word on if Potter will return as Alison Gordon, but below we've got the rest of the cast and the official synopsis. Saw VII 3D opens against Paranormal Activity 2 on October 22.
Confirmed Cast: Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell all return with the surprise addition of Sean Patrick Flanery ( Boondock Saints), Gina Holden ( Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, Final Destination 3), Chad Donella ("Lost", "X-Files"), Laurence Anthony, Dean Armstrong and Naomi Snieckus.

Whatever they decide to do, this movie just better be awesome or im gonna be pissed. Seemed like franchises like this start off really good and then drop the ball on the last few sequels. Although i do think SAW has held up pretty damn good over the years, theres always that chance of the ball getting dropped. SO DO IT RIGHT FOR US FANS, DAMN IT! lol

Imagine this; after the bathroom game, John decides Lawrence fails and forces him to do surgical work for a while before finally serving Gordon one last test, acting like he's "outlived his usefulness" (like, he gives him 1 bullet and asks him what he'll do with it; murder, suicide, or otherwise. )...
But, instead of accepting his fate, Lawrence uses his test as chance to escape instead (which is actually what we learn John wanted all along). Due to this, John says Gordon finally "realizes the value of life" and tells Hoffman to set him free. Instead Hoffman gets paranoid, thinking Lawrence "knows too much" and locks him up again, this time to die.
Now, Hoffman thought John would be too crippled to discover Lawrence's corpse, and blackmailed Amanda into not telling him. However, as it turns out one of the things John told Dr. Gordon to do is exaggerate the extent of his cancer to his henchpeople (MAYBE one of the "tests" John gave Lawrence was to administer the experimental surgery William wouldn't let him get earlier?!). In reality even by the time of Saw III's events, John was fully able to walk and function steadily without any assistance. During one time when he sends both Amanda and Hoffman out, John checks his lair for unauthorized traps and games made by either of the two; finding Lawrence lying dead as well as possibly Rigg and Strahm's traps.

Im almost sure that there will be a huge surprise ending to SAW. Whether this is the last one or theres another etc. Their gonna wrap it up in a big ass way. At least that is my expectations of SAW, i would be shocked and pissed if there wasnt something big planned for the final wrap up.

They're now saying that it's just simply going to be titled Saw 3D. "The Traps Come Alive" is nothing more than a tagline.
