Yeah i have had a few disappointing experiences as well. But luckily for me i havent had a huge problem yet. I try to be very cautious and picky about who i deal with. But even at that there are no guarantees.

UPDATE:

For anyone thats still debating on whether or not to snag up House Of The Devil, Amazon is selling the DVD for $13.99 and they are only 5 left at the time of this posting. They say more is on the way, but i have seen that before on movies and there are never any guarantees on how soon IF and when they will get in more. So HURRY UP if you need or want it!

House of the Devil VHS/DVD bundle is still priced for $31.49, nothing new to report on this one...YET! But this is becoming a collectible fairly quickly and once all 1000 copies of the bundle has been sold, sellers will sell this for at least double the original retail price, and most likely even more then that!

BEWARE!
This bundle is and has been, being sold on eBay fairly cheap! BUT be warned the bundle has been opened and the DVD taken OUT and the VHS RE-WRAPPED! And sold singlely. The problem with that is the seller or sellers are not telling that bit of info. They claim its brand new factory sealed & MINT! Its obviously not factory sealed if the DVD has been removed from the bundle. And there is a fine line when it comes to "MINT". Technically if the bundle has had the factory wrap removed from it, its no longer "MINT". But thats if your being technical to the tee. Most people think "MINT" is never played or played once and no scratches etc, etc. As far as i know House of the Devil IS NOT being sold as a single VHS alone. Only as a DVD/VHS bundle. So dont be duped and buy this, unless you just dont care and dont mind and want the VHS. But i thought i would pass this information along. Always looking out for my fellow TH'ers!
