Love this game. Lots of zombies to kill. We play every night. It helps get rid of stress. See that zombie...It's my boss. Headshot!
Great AI director. Never exactly the same game twice. Different levels of difficulty from easy to expert. Only drawback is that there is very little story line. What story there is comes from the graffiti on the walls. Think of it as a silent B-Movie. First person shooter, but speaking as someone that gets motion sickness, I have no problems.
Limited content at this point, but Valve is very good about releasing updates, free of charge. I've been playing almost nightly since around Christmas and haven't gotten bored yet. It is playable on XBox Live & P.C. and it can be fun to get teams together. Watch out for sprinters & suicidal players. Also playable in a versus format where the 2 teams switch between being the survivors and the infected. The AI players can be a pain. (How in the hell did they see that Smoker???) But, they are very big help at times. (Where did that Smoker come from? And, why am I dead?)
I would recommend to anyone that likes video games and horror.

Ah, this game kicks mad booty. Been playing since the day it came out and can't STOP MYSELF FROM DOING IT OVER AND OVER LIKE SOME MAD COMPULSION. Just glad I don't have that compulsion to stick things in my eyes anymore. Watta relief. Uhh, but L4D is easily my favorite game of all time, just above Dead Rising and Resident Evil 4.:zombie:

I love the Resident Evils. I cannot wait for RE5, I downloaded the demo and it kicks major ass. Dead Rising is also great. I beat that game multiple times, and unlocked the real mega man blaster.

I love the Resident Evils. I cannot wait for RE5, I downloaded the demo and it kicks major ass. Dead Rising is also great. I beat that game multiple times, and unlocked the real mega man blaster.

What's your favorite game modes on L4D, Loki?

Well Bo, as of now, the only modes are verses and campaign. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but it keeps people very occupied. This Spring, they are adding a Survival Mode, which is like Gears of War 2 hoard mode, where the object of the game is to survive as long as possible. They are also adding 2 verses campaigns. My favorite is of course Verses. Like to make other players cry!!!!

Yeah I picked it up and beat it already. It is a pretty fun game. I was a bit disappointed with the scenes, though. The intro scene when you turn the game on is awesome, but after that they don't really show anything. I'm also not a fan of the Half-Life engine, but it worked really well with this game. Even though the campaign was short, I would still recommend this game. It has a good replay value, plus you can play online.
