Very classic. You never looked at clowns, balloons, or storm drains the same again.
:reading:The book, of course, was better.

Isn't it amazing how Stephen King manages to take something ordinary and make you look at it a different way. If I'm already feeling creeped out, a storm drain gets to me. We used to play in a large tunnel that ran under the road. Trust me, I wouldn't now. And you're sink drain. Every once in a while, you look in the black little hole and think "We all float down here."

The book It is honestly one of the best example of story telling in the English language. King really needs his dues in the literary world. Oh, and Tim Curry is SOOOOO cool as a bad guy. Remember him as Darkness in Legend, or Dr. Frankenfurter in Rocky Horror? He's the man! Well, sometimesSmile

I read the book for IT and kept dreaming about clowns!
I first saw the film when I was really really young (like 3/4) Sad
Pennywise is so scary, especially when he laughs.

I heard aaaaaages ago that this was being remade. Then not. Then it was gonna be another TV release.

Also, I had been looking forward to seeing Stephen King's Cell, was supposed to be by Eli Roth.. like 3 years ago?! But now its apparently gonna be made into a tv thing too :S. Anyone know anything about this?

He certainly is. The last news I heard was the same thing Friday heard. Apparently it is going to be remade. Oh, and King has an idea for a sequel to The Shining!
