Peter Steele, frontman of Type O Negative, died yesterday, April 14, of a heart attack. He wad 48
 RIP. I loved Type O Negative. rocking my Bloody Kisses shirt today.

Yeah, this is actually pretty sad. I'm not a HUGE fan of their music but I enjoyed a few of their songs. Poor guy was only in his 40s and had heart failure.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GODDAMMIT! FUCK! Man, Type O was bad ass. My friend saw them in concert and actually talked with them, if I remember correctly. Fuck, I wonder if he's heard yet. RIP, Peter Steele.

LOL but they are referred to as bass players...
ex: Eric Clapton is a great guitarist, Peter Steele was a great bass player (or bassist even). Yeah he played bass <3 I miss him wickedly. I stayed up all night and even cried once. . . Type-O Negative was a MASSIVE influence on my life so I took it really hard. Many memories involve their music. I saw them in San Francisco a year or so ago and it was MIND BLOWING-LY wonderful! Rest is Peace, my darling Peter.
