NicoleMayCanaday Wrote:King & Stanley Kubrek's The Shining should def be there, not Suspiria. I guess because Kubrek is not considered a horror director/ writer the film did not make it?? Why no love for King??! I call bull shit! The Shining's on plenty of lists, I think enough people give Kubrick credit. I thought Suspiria was great personally, especially the scene with the straight-razor assailant chasing the girl through the halls.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

Honestly I dont know why Suspiria gets so much attention. I think Dario's Tenebre and Deep Red are better films.

Eraserhead is on tv right now..... Call me thick but I aint getting it. Roast chicken coming back to life and the strangest looking baby I have ever seen. Walter Mitty on acid.

me neither. Freaking 1970's was time to be making horror! I say Dont Look Now should be the next TH Horror Around the World movie!!! Who's in???
Sorry Briggsy, but I dont see the point in Suspiria either. This list is suppose to represent the most scariest horror films, and that film is not scary to me. I think Opera was his better film (and less retarded).

I'm down. You should check out House of The Devil. Great throwback to 70's horror.

I am in agreement with Suspiria. Though I liked the film, I don't think it was scary nor should it be considered as the best horror movie of all time. It was great but highly overrated.

Lol now, I wouldn't say that. I respect his art. But it doesn't belong on this list.

There is nothing wrong with Argento's movies. They are horror but massive horror fanboys jack off to his movies because they... well... I don't know why. He isn't that great. Personally I think Cronenberg is better than Argento. Hell, even Carpenter is better than Argento at times.
