I'll go on record as saying I will never, ever read these.
Tried to watch the first movie with my wife, after she put me on a guilt trip ("do you know how many movies I watch with you, just to make you happy, when I have absolutely no desire to see them?") . . . and I made it through the first 30 minutes before I fell asleep.
I've never seen anything so atrocious in my life. And I saw Jan DeBont's THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE in the theater.
