Army Of Darkness

The original Evil Dead is my favorite out of all of them. The sequels were no where near as good, imo.

I think definitely think so as well, though the others aren't "bad" by any stretch. Though it's way different, I kind of take a liking to Army of Darkness for the very reasons it's not the same as the others; in the balance of horror and comedy the latter strongly comes out on top, the action is hilarious as opposed to brutal, and the characters are pretty much "there" to represent heroes and villains and the like... Maybe I like it since it's the first I saw?
