Zach Wrote:me too..I personally think they should end it here so things don't go on so long it's weird, but I also definitely think the Saw series is a brilliant grounds for a "Star Wars Expanded Universe" type thing where we find a bunch of new apprentices, people we didn't know survived (The return... of both Jeffs!), possibly continuing adventures of old characters (provided Jill or Hoffman survive)...
but it was bound to happen sooner or later, and it's probably for the best. A continuity heavy franchise like this should only really go on for so long. Just like Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare was the final movie in the franchise and Just like Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday was the final movie in that franchise. What they really mean is that it will be the final movie in the franchise unless they can think up another way to milk more money out of the franchise.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ
