And this is my reaction to Greutert decision, If Saw VII isn't set out yet I have a hard time believing it'll be done in time for their release date, that third conversion stuff takes way long and even if they get done in April with VII they're going to have a very little post production time frame in order to get it to the conversion house. So I get the feeling he wont be happy directing, ,this is getting really uglyn I feel for Kevin though and is he being "forced" to direct the movie?, even if he does forgive and forget this, at all cause he'll be rushed, he'll be under big pressure and finished his work in complete rapid that will result to a disagreeable film.. I'm perceptibly sensing that saw will perish soon.. , if not when this film is released then soon after..
Well any way, I also want to point out how cranky is he.. I get he was really excited to make Paranormal Activity 2 and something his mommy could see.. I cant even understand he wants to visit his mommy once more before running off to do a movie, is he a mother's boy or the youngest son or...ah never mind.. But what Im pointing out is hello...for goodness sake be thankful you have a nice job at all! Some of us out here barely have food on our tables but here he is going "well kill me if I have to leave one movie to do another" ...lol, but how many people get to say that, ever? Seriously, don't get locked in a contract to do big time movie and make a nice bucket of green cash if you don't want to be pulled around like this, let someone who likes to put food in their mouths have it. It just pisses me off..
Besides, another reason he should thank his lucky star for having a nice work at all was that Saw VI did so leniently at the box office that there's absolutely no reason at all they should have him coming back to direct beyond screwing the competition like they're trying to do. Its not a personal slight against him, its not even an honor to his work on VI, it's all a big NO NO to Paramount for even thinking about putting a horror movie out around Saw time... I dont know how, after 6 years, they've managed to make every one so frighten to put a horror movie out at the best time of the year for them but I imagine it includes torture and violence...
And for goodness don´t force a guy to direct the movie, it will result in another failure for the franchise, even more given the fact that he is done already and wants to move forward. It is logical, we will get an uninspired and boring movie. Hire another director, there´s plenty outside there and more talented and gifted in that particular area
