Well i did not say i agreed with him 100%. I said he had an interesting view i had never heard of before that i found interesting. I totally agree with the fact she was possessed. But it doesnt mean there still couldnt have been sexual abuse as an untold story as part of the film. The Bell Witch movie also taps into this theory a bit. Whether or not sex abuse was true in that case or not it was used as another theory for that incident. They seem to refer to that case as more of a poltergeist then possession, but nontheless its an interesting take. He said himself the ouija board had to come from somewhere. So if there was some type of negative energy in the house invited in by the ouija board, as they are considered portals...Regan would for sure be the prime target of the evil spirit. Sexual abuse would have made her more vulnerable and hopeless etc. I liked his analysis as it gave me other options to view things in. I am also the same way. I rarely take the surface of things as is, as i tend to dig for more layers and im usually glad that i did so. Alot of my writings are also from another level of thinking, so maybe i am a dumbass to.
