Cloverfield prequal trailer arriving soon?

I'd like to see a Cloverfield 2, not a prequel. I mean, how the fuck could a prequel even be pulled off properly? Are we going to follow the monster through his underground caves?

Funny that you mentioned that because that's exactly what might happen. If you followed the viral marketing as closely as I did you'll find out that the Cloverfield monster attacked a drilling station (Chuai Station) before it made it's appearance in New York.

There is a whole story surrounding T.I.D.O. wave and two characters known as Jamie and Teddy. Although I do not care for a prequel, if done correctly, it could be good.
