Duel
#7
Mr. Briggs Inc. Wrote:I used to own the VHS and need to get around to buying the DVD. I liked the film a good bit; although the beginning was a little uneasy to get through, it becomes something intense and incredible once it really gets going. I myself liked the lack of a clearly visible truck driver as well, it gave the truck a mysterious and disconnected feel. If we had seen the guy he'd probably just be some pissed off fat dude sick and tired of people passing him on the road XD

I think a lot of old movies, especially movies from the 70s curiously enough, start off really slow and don't get good until the second or even the third half. I didn't have a problem with it in Duel but some movies I did.
