Picture this; guy's girlfriend gets raped some years back, sees another guy who looks like rapist on trolley and it ruins her day, to the point where she has to order boyfriend to come over as he's already called his mother to pick him up from college. Guy tries to comfort girlfriend but girlfriend gets pissed off at him and drive him to tears. Girl makes superficial gesture to stop guy crying, guy rejects it and girl absolutely flies off the handle and refuses to speak with him. Guy flies off the handle and begins hitting and slapping his own head to show girl that he too can feel pain. Guy develops major headaches which keep him from sleeping and thinks he may have actually gotten brain damage.
