Some people say there will be; I don't think this is true. For one thing, unlike other "final chapters," the producers of Saw actually said themselves that "3D" would be the last installment. Not only that, but nothing has been announced yet, which it usually has by this point.
From a creative standpoint, I think Saw 3D really fucked up the series storyline, probably beyond repair. If they made a Saw VIII that absolutely did not compromise for quality (addressed issues such as the rigged traps or the unseen planning of the bathroom game), it could be good, but that is far out of reach.
