Daylight Yet Unseen Wrote:i prefer to be alone. again, its just a damn race. i'll be fine. summer race in Daytona=biggest race of the year. they'll have every cop in Florida there, chill out ya'll.
you have no idea how long i've wanted to go this. i will not miss this for the world.
ya know, like the song
INTO THE NIGH, ONWARD WE RIDE
GULPIN DOWN POUNDS OF FUEL, PASS THE SPEED OF LIGHT!
It's not necessarily the race that could be dangerous. What if your hotel doesn't except the credit card because of a banking error, where would you stay? What if you get into a car accident in the cab? What if you get lost? There are lots of factors that could happen and you wouldn't know how to deal with them and your parents will have to try and solve them 2,000 miles away. You're not understanding this because you've never been on your own before, at least you haven't been on your own where your parents were at least 200 miles away. As an adult you should understand the dangers of traveling anywhere alone when you don't have to. I'm not the only person who thinks this... in fact many people will suggest you that.
