That's where I was first exposed to 50's music was from Clue. I loved the movie since. I wished, and even requested, my high school and middle school administrator to play some Jerry Lee Lewis but when they did everybody booed it off. Truly, I was the only person who was brought up on strict, 50's, conservative parenting techniques. Every now and then I think I would have done better, popularity wise, in a 50's setting than I would today.
As for "I Melt With You." I've been saving that song for when I get the chance to dance with the person I love. Sadly, high school has passed and that was when I wanted to do it. Now, it will just seem tacky.
