The IMDb page for it has 2013 as a release date. It probably doesn't mean much, but is the cast confirmed? IMDb seems to have lot of cast listed for a sequel that hasn't really gone anywhere.
There was a deleted scene from part 2 where The Creeper used one of his victims like a ventriloquist's dummy. They show some storyboard artwork of the scene, as well. They scratched it because it would have require The Creeper to talk. I actually really like that idea.
