I don't know. I think the reason why the musical aspect didn't hit me the right way is because it didn't feel like a musical number, it just felt like the characters were singing songs rather than actually performing. Besides, the songs didn't really sound 'broadwayish.'

Do they have to sound like they're from Broadway in order to be good? I actually really didn't care for Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd the first time I saw it. I just wanted the movie to hurry up and get to the blood. The second time though I really enjoyed it. Maybe Repo just needs another view? Not that I'd ever give it the chance...
