"Man! What a crazy, busy day!" Zane says a bit exasperated as he answered the knock at the door. He opens it a bit quickly, wondering who is on the other side. And there stood Ray, and Zanders face lit with joy.
"Bull, my man! Whats up?!?!" "It's been awhile, and no, my asshole dad and his friends are not here! Man I've missed you! Just the other day, I was telling a buddy at school about the time we replaced all of my dads business partners bear hunting shells with blanks that we made. Now was it really OUR FAULT that they got attacked by a bear and Mr. Chin lost a finger?? Hhehehehehe! Dude, those were the days. They still have no idea why ALL their bullets were misfires! Hehe. I'm having a little get together this week up here, and feel free to stick around.We have a TON of "Party Favors", if ya know what I mean. We're going cave diving in a few days, and I got plenty of equipments, so hang out man. We'll catch up!"
Zane waited for Ray to come in, reached down and stroked Gabby's beautiful light fur, and looked back at Emily.
"So Em. Who's the hobo lookin' dude that's crashed out on the floor? I don't mind another, hell, the more the merrier, but he isn't a dangerous serial killer or something is he?"
Zane stepped over the stranger on the floor, walked to the table, and pulled a bottle of tequila out of the bag. He twisted the cap, took a swig, and put the bottle on the floor next to the strangers head.
"Well, when he wakes up, maybe a little hair of the dog will make him friendly, no offense Gabby."
"Hey Em, ya got any papers?"
