And yes, I agree 1408 is one of the best horror films this decade. Very nice to have a good atmospheric "things get warped in a haunted place" flick among so much unspirited mess trying to push the envelope
. I found it somewhat similar to The Haunting myself.
(But wait, what the hell, Darkside? Pet Sematary is not only one of the most skilled book-to-film conversions I know of, but also one of the scariest films! Did you just mean out of the ones you mentioned? You did praise Cujo later on...)
