I tend to listen to the same cds over and over while driving. Right now we have a 6 cd changer in the car, my husband "owns" the first 3 and i get the other 3, I have nekromantix - return of the loving dead (that cd never leaves my car) Hot Rod Hullabaloo (rockabilly band from saskatoon, they rock) and The horrorpops - Bring it on.
I think I'd die without music. I have songs for everything lol. When I want to get in the mood to party it's holiday in cambodia by the dead kennedys. When I want to annoy my husband it's pervy in the park by demented are go (it always gets stuck in his head). When it's really nice out and I'm just driving around it's rock this town by the stray cats and texas rockabilly rebel by rev horton heat. Oddly enough, if i get a little too drunk, it'll generally be metallica master of puppets.
I think I love rockaiblly and psychobilly so much because it's got a lot of elements from 50's rock'n'roll. If I'm feeling down, I'll be blasting Otis Redding or Alton Ellis.
