Do you think Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes are better than the originals?

aHA! You and me both, sister! I really, really think the "digital film look" and the tinted interlay are some of the most awful additions to horror out there. They work for films like the Saw series or 1408, but usually it just looks dumb and unnecessary, which sucks because they have something like it in almost every movie nowadays (Making reg.-film movies look cheap Sad ).

I liked the Halloween remake myself as it's own entity (a bit moreso than the TCM remake as it's own entity) even though it doesn't do justice to the original. It has a more documentary "...and this happened one night" sort of feel to it that I started to appreciate when I saw the trailer for H2.
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”
