Okay, I know the remake has a lot of fans here, but honestly it did not match up to the first 3 in the original series for me. It was an OK slasher, but that does not match up to the horror or originality of the original. Not a strong enough script, and not skilled enough direction. There were some "ugh" bits (unspirited exposition, the weird "mercy killing"), as well as some parts that simply could have been done better. 6/10 in my opinion.
