I agree, PS is one of the GREATS, both as book and a film. You thought the whole "no fair" thing was funny, I found it creepy some weirdass quasi-dead psycho would be uttering that to it's grave; the whole thing definitely straddles the line between straightup horror and surreal chills o.O .
I understand the slightly-less-than-perfect score, I too have had those movies that just lacked "something" to puch them into personal perfection: Not really a flaw, but lacking something
