But seriously, I hear from early reviewers that this guy cannot do justice to the character at all; in one of them I remember he was said to be "less like Pinhead, more like a lead-singer of a Hellraiser-themed goth band"

I've heard nothing but terrible reviews about Revelations, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in seeing it. Honestly though, it looks like they caught him in the middle of taking a massive dump on that DVD cover.
