There's nothing that proves he disappeared, rather than simply walked away; I think most of the teleportation stuff for both Jason and Michael is fanon made to explain away the fact that they're damn good at sneaking up on people and getting out of trouble.

I'll buy that.

Zombie Jason's not invincible, but he's almost certainly tougher than Michael. Michael's taken bullets, but Jason has taken several more at point-blank range and gotten up immediately (part 6); Michael has crushed heads with his hands, but Jason has punched peoples' heads off (part 8); Michael was blown up and collapsed, recovering only years later, whereas Jason was blown up and walked away like it was nothing (part 7).

They've both been through hell, so, I think it's a draw when it comes to toughness.

No one has even mentioned that Jason is terrified of water, which gives Michael the upper-hand instantly before the fight even begins. Furthermore, Michael can drive a vehicle (see part 5 & H20) - something Jason has never done.

Michael is a natural born serial killer, who doesn't need any motivation to do so - he just kills 'cause he's a bad motherfucker.

Jason, on the other hand, only began killing for revenge or to avenge his mother's death - how ever you want to look at it. While that is a strong motivator, it's nothing like being simply evil to the core, which is what Michael is.

Jason's motivation will eventually be fulfilled, Michael's will never be.

The water thing wasn't an issue until the filmmakers felt they had to be "clever" for the awful Freddy vs. Jason: Jason dealt with water just fine in every other film. Even at the end of FvJ, Jason was shown stepping out of the water quite calmly. I'll give you the point that Michael can drive/perform higher functions than Jason though.

And yeah, Michael may be possessed by the undying desire to kill for evil's sake (even after the iffy "family curse o' Thorn" was completed he went right back to his home and started killing random folks again), but despite having a "motive," Jason isn't going to stop either.

Jason avenged his mother's death in the first 10 minutes of part 2, and what did he do after that? He started trying to kill every other completely innocent person at Crystal Lake! When he got taken from Crystal Lake to New York? Killed people there too. When he got taken from his campground to space, long after everyone who was old enough to even know his mother were long dead and the camp was probably long torn down? He started killing people in space. For Jason, the motive isn't really revenge/protecting some piece of turf, it's "my mom, AKA the one person worthy of living, is dead; everyone else must now die to make up for it!" It reads like revenge, but it's more spite than anything.
