Friday The 13thHalloween Remake Vs. Friday The 13th Remake!

When Jason got his mask it was so anticlimactic and it was a chance to redeem the movie but in Halloween, when Michael got his mask you knew it was Michael. The theme played and Zombie understands that it is the memorable quality Michael has.

Dude... When Jason picked up that mask you knew shit was going to hit the fucking fan...

And your seriously comparing this to the piece of shit that Rob Zombie did? lol

I mean come on...

I mean there is always room for improvement...
But Robs shitty work don't hold a candle to the new F13th.

But... Jason lazily picked up the mask and the mask just happened to be there at the time. It's lazy writing. It's supposed to be the most defining moment in the entire franchise and they screwed it up. With Zombie's Halloween, he at least knew what he was wanted to do but it didn't translate on the screen.

But yes, both of them need a lot of improvement.

I tend to judge remakes harshly.

Don't get me wrong, remakes can be done good... but when you remake a movie that has such a strong fan-base, you need a director that knows what made the original one work. If he does, than the remake will be better or on par with the original movie (ex: My Bloody Valentine, Amityville Horror, ect).

But when a director takes such an iconic horror film and turns it into dog shit, you are essentially spitting in the faces of devoted horror fans. If you take the time with the movie and you develop your script, you can make a good remake.

I agree the Hitcher fucking sucked balls!
Mainly because it was kind of a shot for shot.

But have you even watched the TCM Remake?
I highly doubt you have...

Also I don't see how the director failed at Jason or Leatherface...
I mean what do you expect? It's not a fucking Sesame Street Cartoon lol!

And for the people who talk shit on the Jason Remake because he ran...
Um... If you hate the fact that he runs then you must hate the originals...
Jason ran through most of the early originals...

So don't diss on Remakes...
Unless you really know wtf your talking about!

I'm sorry Briggz, but one of your excuse on another post about TCM Remake,
Was that it was too Gorey? WTF lol...
Like I said it's not a fucking cartoon!
And if you dont like gorey movies then why in the fuck are you even a horror fan?

I'm not trying to be a bitch here...
But if your a TRUE Horror fan! like me!
Then you wouldn't judge or diss a Remake because you wanna seem "COOL" or different...
I admit I hate Rob Zombie and his SHITTY Excuse for a Remake!
But I have real reasons for hating it...
Not lame made up excuses like a lot of you guys are saying...

I mean the shit you guys are saying is coming str8 out of your asses....
I mean you guys aint even thinking it through...
Your just making up random reasons without using some fucking logic...
