Yah, but I think that maybe with Kane, the fight scenes would have more of a horror twinge to them, as opposed to kung-fu

There wernt even eough fighting scenes for a movie about 2 battling horror icons. I would of been happier watching them battle it out for 2 hours then the results of the actual movie.

I didn't like freddie vs jason and yes kane hodder should have been jason. I also thought he should have b een jason for the remake too. The fight scene was pretty much cheasy however, I do feel jason kick freddie ass. lol

I agree Jason X had a damn random idea for a plot, but what FvJ lacked was more crucial: heart. Jason goes to hell and Jason X still felt a lot more like F13 films than Freddy vs. Jason. As a matter of opinion, even Freddy's Dead had more heart than Freddy vs. Jason (though from a technical standpoint it was a lot, lot, lot worse).

The only reason Jason was sent to space was cuz of the Fvj constantly getting delayed. Jason X may have sucked but I'm bummed they never continued on with the series from there.

And I mean, they could easily have just ignored Jason X and continued from, say, "New Blood" or even "Manhattan" if they cared for their established series.

They couldn't continue off the old franchise becuz Paramount owned the rights to all that until the remake came about. So either new line could continued there Jason X storyline or there Freddy vs Jason storyline.
