Children and Ghosts.

Do you think that children are more susceptible to seeing spirits, possibly communicating with them? Does anyone have any personal stories about this subject?

they are alot of different theories to answer this question but personally i believe they can....but one theory is when a child comes into this world they are what we term "close to the grave". This term means that they have just come over from the Other Side. Before they entered the Earth realm and incarnated into this lifetime they were "in spirit" on the Other Side waiting to be born. This means that they may have been there with passed over loved ones before they came here. And another one is that children are born with their third eye wide open. This is the chakra point in the middle of the forehead. This is the chakra (an energy point on the body) which enables one to be open to spirit communication, and the ability to see spirits and talk with them. But they are other so many answers to this question its impossible to just believe one theory lol

Yea. I've heard those theories before. I've also heard that children can remember past lives, and as you grow older you learn to believe that it's your imagination, etc...

but then again when i was a child i saw these things.. but none of the other children i was with could. i believe its all in the upbringing of beliefs :]

Well, when children grow older they're taught that a lot of things are just their imagination. That's probably why most people shut things out. They're get a little more close-minded, etc...

My child, I've mentioned before, would wave to someone that wasn't there. The worst time, we had been taking a nap in my bed, she on the inside, me with my back toward the door. She was walking, but not talking well yet, so around 1 year old. She woke me up as she always did, by standing up and balancing on my side. She gives me a big goofy grin and then starts to stare out the door into the hallway. Then she waved.
It was one of those times when you literally freeze. You stop breathing and all of the hair on the back of your neck stands up. My first thought was that someone had broken into the house and was standing behind me. I did the slow look over my shoulder. There was no one there. Super creepy.
A friend of mine's daughter had some experiences when she was little. The girl would have taken a nap in her crib & when she she woke up, her mom would find her talking. "Who are you talking to?"
"Grandma."
"Oh, that's nice." Much later they went to a relatives house that had a large display of family photos. The little girl started looking at the pictures, she zeroed in one one immediately. "Look, mommy, there's Grandma." "No, sweetie, that's Granny --". "No, mommy, she likes to be called Grandma." Grandma had been dead since before the little girl had been born. They were living in her house. :eek:
So, yeah. I believe kid's are better able to see them. And, there is very little rationalization to their thoughts.

yes this is totally unbelievable!!
