What are your thoughts on this amazing series?
I for one love the 'ALIEN' films. My all time favorite is "ALIENS". The special edition is killer. And Sigourney gives a badass performance, for which she was nominated for an Oscar.
Of all the horror franchises out there, the 'ALIEN' series ranks second on my list.

The Alien movie are bad ass. I don't think they get as much respect as they deserve.

The odd numbered ones are horror films I'd say, whereas the evens tend to be more action-based. Still, I like all 4 to some extent; they are truly artistic and atmospherically done works.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I sort of liked Alien 3 but Alien Resurrection was the worst. I didn't think it needed to be made.

I think "Alien:Resurrection" was a rushed project. But I like the special edition of it more than the theatrical version.
Hopefully they will make an 'Alien 5', if Ridley Scott's prequels are successful.

The only good thing about it was the special FX. Though that alien/human hybrid thing does look fascinatingly stupid.

I'm pretty sure if the prequals success they'll just reboot the whole franchise.

If 20th Century Fox still owns the rights then its gonna get rebooted. That's what they do.

I've seen all the ALIEN movies in the theater. I had a cat named Hicks, a computer named Mother and I named my son Bishop.
Obviously, these movies have had no impact on me at all.
