I think I will be since I already have "Let the Right One In" on bluray. Makes for a nice compare and contrast.

I have Let The Right One In on DVD (with theatrical subs). I should be getting the blu-ray of Let Me In soon.

See, now I was just going to skip it since I have Let The Right One In.

Mistake? Is the US version worth it?

I'm going to watch it soon, then I will probably post a review.

I have yet to see it but I have been hearing a lot of good things about it.

I've heard that the original is better, so it's almost like I need an excuse to see it. Like... "hey, the little boy in the American version isn't nearly as weird as the one in the original." That kind of excuse.

It's very similar to the original, do not expect a world of difference or anything. There are some very minor differences. It's worth checking out and more acceptable to watch if you have friends with you. My friends do not like being bothered with subtitles.

Ahh... yes. I see. A way to ward off English-snobs. Got it. That's a pretty good excuse.

I never really understood why Let Me In got all this praise about it being the best horror film of the last ten (or was it twenty?) years. It's almost identical to Let the Right One In with a few additional scenes. It's still good, bit I definitely would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't seen Let the Right One In first. I actually need to get on owning both on Blu-ray.

I can't see why either of them are considered the best horror movies in years. Though, as outstanding as Let The Right One In is… I wouldn't consider it a horror movie. I watched it, it's disturbing but it's a coming of age drama with vampires. Still haven't seen Let Me In but I imagine it to be the same.

I liked the new bits in Let Me In a lot. I kind of wish it would've strayed further from the source material as it turned out to just feel predictable in the long run. It's still an incredibly faithful adaptation though.
