I actually just have the regular trilogy of the Scream movies.

I'm not so sure I'd buy a blu-ray player just for this...:reddisgust:
maybe in a while AFTER the next film is relased with THOSE special features...then we'll see exdev:

I hear the originals were caught up in a censorship-spike and were cut to hell because of it (I think Casey was originally strung up by her entrails or something to that tune). I really hope they don't release cut versions again, or at the very least I hope they have hi-def deleted scenes.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I have the trilogy on DVD I don't think I'll spend the bucks for something I already have.

I would pay for another Scream DVD so long as it is the director's cut. I guess it would make sense if she was hung up by her intestines because wasn't her intestines out anyway?

Looking back on it, I think having her hang by her intestines might be a bit much. Ghostface doesn't seem like the killer that would go to that extreme, so perhaps this form of censorship is warranted.

Randy's death was and is still by far the most effective death in a horror film of the last twenty years.

you mean with the van...?
I still think his rules were the best part of the films exdev:

If only post-Scream filmmakers were less inclined to follow "the rules" out of a sense of being "meta"/"genre savvy," and more willing to break them so as to keep audiences on their toes and fulfill the functional purpose of satire in the first place :bored:

Since I'm still stuck in the early 00's, to me spending $40 on a DVD is ridonkulous. I've just recently gotten over the fact that DVDs are still $25. Maybe I'm just cheap.

Well, yeah, but it's a 3 pack - whole thing amounts to about $13 per film :/

True. I'm a little stubborn on prices. I see a DVD for $10 and I have to battle with myself on whether or not I want it.
