BojanglesKane Hodder should have been Jason in Freddy VS Jason

LolliePop Wrote:1,2 and 4 are the decent ones, 4 being my favorite. Jason Takes Manhattan is just an annoying waste of time. I hate it even more than Jason X. I'm with Chris aswell, 5 is a bit of a bore-fest where kills are concerned. Its not Noel Coward so I won't overly disect these films. They are sequels banged out to make money. Its supposed to be bums on seats entertainment. So entertain me! Give me what I go in for. 5 fails at that.

That is Perfect I agree 100%Confusedharepopcorn:

It's 2, 4, and 6 for me. If we could get a restored version of part 7 with all of the butchered scenes put back into it, it'd be one of my favorites as well.

Same here Chris, hopefully it happens sooner - rather than later.

From what I understood, what we saw on the From Crystal Lake to Manhattan set was the best we could get. I thought they said something about the footage being in such poor condition that it couldn't be restored any further. Something along those lines anyway. I never bought the new version of part seven, so maybe that has more new stuff I don't know about.

You're right Chris, I forgot all about that.

I actually looked at the extras on the re-release, and the cut scenes are on it. I'm not sure if you can watch the movie with them included.

The re-release of the original My Bloody Valentine has that option.

Really? Hm. Interesting.

Yeah, but the problem with the MBV cut scenes is - they didn't make an effort to improve their quality. All the scenes are VHS standard and it just looks shitty mixed in with a high-def transfer. The sound is also off, effects and voices sound like they're in a hole.
