Oh yeah! I loved that scene. I have a horrible fear of spiders so it was especially fun for me. It cracked me up that some of the spiders (at least when they were first creeping towards him) were real and some were fake. The fake ones kind of bounced instead of creeping. Loved it. And I REALLY loved all of the face melting that went on in the film. So much fun! Oh! And the scene where Martha's head gets impaled on that nail and it comes out through her eye socket, popping the eye out along with it! I didn't think they'd be able to come up with yet another creative way to pop an eye (that was—what?—the third or fourth eye lost in the film). I was SO glad they proved me wrong.

Insidious: is the best horror film so far this year IMO.

City of the Living Dead — it had to be done. And though there was a distinct lack of eye-gouging, the vomiting up of one's own intestines and the rampant skull tearing (by a single hand no less, and with accompanying brain squishing) more than made up for it.

Slither — a seriously silly SciFi/Horror mash-up (starring Nathan Fillion no less). I laughed a lot, but also got a few really good gross-outs for my trouble.

Insidious I really enjoyed too Lynn!

And City of the Living Dead is fabulous. I'm a huge Fulci/Catriona MacColl mark.

Watched at the end of a Freddy run with my daughter:

Just finished watching Marebito another Japanese horror about a camera man who IMO is a wackadoo who stopped taking his medication and ends up killing and in the end kills himself. I give it a 2.5 out of 5Confuseduicide:

Audition. This is one of the most bizarre "horror" movies I've seen. I hesitate to call it a horror movie, because for most of the movie, it really isn't. The horror stuff doesn't happen until the third act of the movie. But it is VERY effective in creeping you out.
