DragonBluesDr. Sleep: A Sequel to The Shining
#1
The much rumored sequel to our favorite Steven King story, The Shining, has finally slipped out of the territory of rumor... The new novel, Dr. Sleep, will apparently involve a group of psychic vampires known as "the tribe." Read on here at the Daily Dead and check out a video clip of Steven King reading a chapter from the upcoming book:

I'll try to keep you posted on any further updates... Big Grin

Haven't clicked on it but based on what I skimmed through, it seems like King is trying to find a way to make The Shining connect with his Dark Tower series. Psychic vampires sounds close to the Empathic Vampires. Eh, I love SK but this book has me a little cynical.

Okay, so I listend to it and I'm interested to read it. I don't think it was necessary but it was definitely entertaining.

I would much rather have Danny revisit the hotel instead of something totally different.
