Hello
Hope you are well!
I am contacting you on behalf of SPV/Steamhammer records with some info I thought might be of interest to the Talk Horror forum users - I hope you don't mind!
Horror film director and score composer Stephen W Parsons (Howling II, Split Second, Journal of a Contract Killer) is currently fronting new London rock and roll supergroup KING MOB who have today released their debut album 'Force 9', as well as a free download of new single 'Selene Selene' and announced a very special intimate one-off London show on 17th November at 229 The Venue.
Please find a full press release posted below.
The band is an English Rock n Roll beat group comprising of guitar legend Chris Spedding (Roxy Music, Elton John, John Cale, Paul McCartney), Glen Matlock - bass (Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Faces), Martin Chambers â drums (Pretenders), Stephen W Parsons aka Snips â vocals (film composer and vocalist of legendary 70âs band Sharks) and introducing hot new guitar talent Sixteen. They draw on the Spirit of â69 to bring the raw power and spirit of that golden age of music into a contemporary setting - the sound and production will appeal to a wide array of fans of the classic rock n roll, blues, beat, americana, rockabilly, punk, surf and psychedelic genres to name but a few.
I thought the news might be of interest to your horror film fans and wondered if you might be able to share the news on the Talk Horror forum?

King Mob
Horror film director and score composer Stephen W Parsons fronts brand new rock and roll supergroup King Mob.
Stephen W Parsons - writer/director of Wishbaby, writer/producer Rough Magik (Dreams of Cthulhu) and composer of scores for many horror films including Howling II, Split Second and Journal of a Contract Killer has committed the ultimate horror of fronting a brand new rock supergroup called KING MOB.
The band includes ex members of the Sex Pistols, The Pretenders, Roxy Music. They have released their dynamic new debut album FORCE 9 on the SPV/Steamhammer label.
The album shows a band at the height of their powers. From the sharp riffing of the first single âSelene Seleneâ to the truly infectious âVA VAH VOOMâ, from the gentle groove of âChapel Of Loveâ to the blast of album opener âLover Of High Renownâ, this is an album that draws on the collective experience of all members to create something completely unique. The band draw on the Spirit of â69 â but not in a retrospective way â they are bringing the raw power and spirit of that golden age of music into a contemporary setting - from the songwriting, to the playing, to the sound of the records, to the live show, to the spirit of the act. The album was recorded in four daysâ¦
