Why isn't this board filled with talk of Martyrs? If you haven't seen it, see it! If you are afraid to see it, you should be. If you were going to dismiss, you will regret it! Horror will never be the same again! Not since Hellraiser has a film and filmmaker so tormented me, so tortured me, so excited me. It will change you, if you can handle it.

Well I'll take the word of such a glowing review (Though I'm usually skeptical of hyped-horror since the "8-films-to-die-for" fracas...), if I can find a cheap copy I'll pick it up.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

Great movie. One of my favorite foreign films. I love how it changes gears so abruptly, several times throughout the course of the story it wants to tell: it starts out as sort of a mystery, as you're wondering who this girl is and why she's doing what she's doing, becomes a blood-drenched horror film, then almost "torture porn," and then actually becomes something totally different at the end when it morphs into a supernatural horror story (or does it?).
Highly, highly recommended.
