Thank you, sweetie. I don't really know what to say, besides if it sucks, everyone's going to think Loki's totally whipped.

Yeah, I've wrote quite a few actually, but most were just partials. I plan on writing 3 feature length screenplays (around 100 pages) and one short (65-70 pages). I'm at the point right now where I'm semi debating which order to write them in. But yeah, screenwriting is definately fun stuff.

sometimes you have to sit in front of a computer or with notebook in hand and just write - brainstorm, feelings, memories etc.
later when you do feel inspired you can call your first work your etc file - someplace you can put whatever don't fit or flow with the current story or topic so that you have someplace to store all your ideas to always go back to during writer's block hope that helps?

Btw - one great resource for horror buffs is TRAVEL! I myself have been born and raised in one of the most haunted cities in America and befriended the author of New Orleans Ghosts (no lie - I have his home phone)
Not to meantion the countless ideas that are practically handed to me on a silver platter but I am like a new chief learning to cook. In time I hope to be passing out signed copies to all of y'all - I've got a few things simering on the back burner :reading:

I have a question about "brutal honesty" I had a friend read my most recent attempt at horror...his breathing became more rapid, turned on an overhead light and didn't speak for a while.
When I asked him what he thought he said "good" and since then has made no furthur comment. Should I feel sanctioned?
07-20-2009, 08:56 PM
I think, while I would personally MUCH prefer to get thought-out comments, that response says that you're either pretty much doing everything to your friend's satisfaction, or making small enough mess ups that comments on them would seem petty in the face of the rest.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I would rather have brutal honesty...
