ok so I have been wanting to go to horror fest ever since they started doing them, but because i havent been to one I am way behind on the movies. so my question is what horror fest movies have you seen and what do your rate them?
butterfly effect III 7/10
autopsy 4/10
borderland 7/10
the abandoned 9/10
dark ride 7/10
dying breed 6/10
so far the abandoned was my favorite. I watched that movie by myself in the dark in a big house and that movie creeped the shit out of me.

I've seen Dark Ride going for pretty cheap. I've thought of picking it up before, but I have yet to snag it. It's nice to see someone actually liked it.

yeah dark ride is not the greatest movies of all times at all but it is work watching if your into horror movies. I'm surprised that not many people have even heard of horror fest. 8 indy movies. I don't know about you guys but I'm sick of typical horror movies that just get made just for the box office to make money. they spend way to much money to make a movie that could be make a lot better. for example my bloody valentine!

Honestly though to me those AD movies could have been a lot, lot better... I've only seen ones from the first set, but none of those I saw (Unrest 6/10, Dark Ride 5/10, Gravedancers 4.5/10, Penny Dreadful 4.5/10, Wicked Little Things 4/10, Still Waters 4/10) were really good, IMO...
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I agree with you mr. briggs, the after dark movies could be a little better. i thought that they would be better but there alright. but i would rather watch them over some of the newer horror movies. they arnt compleatly stupid and i would say that they are worth watching.

I admit, they are good to satisfy curiosity; As poorly executed as I think they are, they do have more creative plots than are common in the mainstream nowadays.
