I know that I'm really early, but I'm a planner. Does anyone have any big plans for Halloween this year? It is on a Saturday, which is really cool. Next year it's on Sunday, which everyone in the bible belt knows, gets confusing.
Loki & I are going to take Kid out trick-or-treating, of course. My mom may be having a party this year. But, our big thing is going to the Renaissance Festival. They also have trick-or-treating for kids. And, Knights of the Undead is their jousting that weekend. We haven't been in years.
We would also like to hit Kersey Valley spook trail, which is a big deal. They've been featured on the Travel Channel in the last few years.
Any cool festivals this year for anyone else?

Just moving out to AZ, I don't know what they have to offer, but I'm in the Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix area, down the road from ASU, so there should be something big....(thats what she said). Might go trick-or-treating, haven't done that since 1999.
Out running a killer is like out running a bear, you don't have to run just have a friend that is slower than you!

I am getting married that afternoon so I will be going on my honeymoon that night. I am almost sad because I am gonna be so busy in the week or so leading up to that day too that I wont be able to really enjoy any of the Halloween week like Monsterfest on AMC.

Congratulations Jersey! I fogot to mention the awesome shows that come on for most of that month. Sorry that you're going to be "busy" that night exdev:. I have to go trick-or-treating, so I won't be nearly as busy, but I will miss most of the good movies on.

A guy that I used to work w/ works at the Faire every year. We try to go every other year, but haven't been in three this time. So, we're going with a couple of our friends & their kid. It should be fun.

We have this haunted house around here that is done every year and I thought it would be a really cool idea if we went there in my tux and her in her dress and our wedding party in their stuff and got some wedding pictures done throughout the house, but I dont think my girl is having any of that idea.

I'm right there with you, but you won't mind gaining a little from one of my cheesecakes. Hey, going to the Ren Faire and walking around for hours burns a lot of calories.
We are now going to the circus w/ the same couple we're going to the Ren faire w/. They got free tickets to a circus on Halloween, so we're taking the kids. I wish there was some way to avoid driving the 1 & 1/2 hours to get in that area 2 days in a row. I guess the kiddies wouldn't have much fun trick-or-treating in a hotel.

I'm either going trick or treating/partying with my girlfriend or introducing one of my other friends to a marathon of creepy films (Current lineup, in diabolical order: Tourist Trap, The Return of Count Yorga, Maniac (1980), The Strangers, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), and The Evil Dead)
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

October is going to be INSANE.
I'm hosting a VAMPIRE BALL on the 23rd, Rocky Horror on the 24th, a MONSTER MASH on the 30th, and on Halloween: Central Valley Horror Film Showcase/performance by my dance troupe, The Horror Dolls/concert. Plus making numerous appearances at local haunts/attractions with The Central Valley Horror Club and The Horror Dolls.
