[SIZE="3"][COLOR="Cyan"]I have to say, Miyazaki is one of the best children's directors of our time & he's completely underrated, at least here. He has yet again given us a classic movie with a great story. His films are pure magic. This one revolves around a little boy that finds a goldfish in the ocean. He takes it home with him. Eventually, it turns into a little girl. Very creative & touching story.
This film has been distributed by Disney and is his first film to be released in US theaters. I have to say, I like many of his films just as well as this one, but it was magic to see it on the big screen.
Very talented voice actors include: Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchette, Betty White, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, & Lilly Tomlin.
Anyone who would like to feel like a kid again even for just a bit, or, who's looking for another taste of magic. Take your child, or hell, borrow one to take to see this movie. It will be well worth your time.
Also, check out Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, KiKi's Delivery Service, My neighbor Totoro, or Castle in the Sky. For a bit of blood & gore, Princess Mononoke will hit the spot.[/COLOR][/SIZE]
