This story makes you think... It really does.
It makes you think of what you would do in the certain situations within the story.
It's a pretty good story actually! The ending was quick and unexpected.
The ending seemed like all of Stephen Kings endings, short, unexpected, and made ya think!
At first I was like "WTF that's it?" But then I started thinking of the ending and how even that little bit made since.
So even though the ending was short, it actually made some since, and it makes you think.
Rest Stop is about a guy with like 2 different persona's.
He is a novelist as Rick Hardin in Sarasota, and a mild mannered English Professor as John Dykstra.
Well during his travelings through a Florida Highway, he stops to pee at a Rest Stop.
During his stop at this Rest Stop, he hears an altercation between a woman and a man.
The man who is constantly beating on her while calling her a "Hoor" as the book calls it!
(Oh Stephen King & his Glorious Mind!)
Well we soon find out the woman is pregnant! & she is begging for the safety of her unborn child!
Well here lies the dilema for Dykstra! Save her right away or call 911 and leave this place!
The problem is! once Dykstra lets Hardin out to play, there's no telling what Hardin is capable of doing!
I do hope you guys read this to find out how the story goes!
Stephen King is AMAZING! & his books do truly deserve to be read! At least once!
I give this story a 7/10!
