Mysterious,
gruesome deaths plague a peaceful little village in the Jirisan National Park of South Korea.
Among the victims is the granddaughter of a native of the village and a professional hunter.
A recently relegated police officer from Seoul and a lead detective discover
that the culprit behind the deaths is none other than a man-eating wild boar.
RELEASE DATE: 2009
- There's currently no US distribution.
- Released in theaters in South Korea on July 15th '09.
- The man-eating boar will be a mix of CGI and animatronics.
- Around 70% of the film was shot in the US since getting permits to shoot in the woods is easier in the US than in South Korea.
- Began filming on March 17 on a privately-owned wooded area near San Francisco and wrapped on July 5 in Sokcho, Korea.
-* Budgeted at around $5 million US.
- This marks Jeong-won Shin's second horror-comedy, with Sisily 2km being the first.
