Now, remember: you don't aim a gun at a man unless you intend to shoot him. And, you don't shoot a man unless you intend to kill him. No warning shots. Hey, you listening to me? No warning shots. Warning shots are bullshit. You shoot to kill, or you don't shoot at all.

It's been a good while since the premier, anyone have expanded reviews?
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

I loved the first one, thought the second was a decent sequel for what it was, enjoyed the third one but was quite sure it was on its last legs story-wise. But then, after reluctantly giving SAW IV a chance in the theater, I'm through with this series. No desire to ever see another SAW film . . . .

Anything stand out for you in this one? I personally thought though the traps were screwed thinking-wise (4 people have to die... and no one but the two stragglers are saved because they die?) they were a bit better than the last set design-wise. Character development was some of the best of the last 3 films too IMO.

I loved it. I thought by now they would be running low on stuff to talk about, however they said more in this one than in just about any other.

That's not all though, for the first time in 3 films I actually really felt for the characters throughout o.O ; that's where the true strength in the movies lies Wink

Before I went to see this someone told me is was rubbish and not gory at all. So I went expecting it to be rubbish. But it was great! And it was the goriest one out the lot IMO (maybe except for the 3rd?).

The gore in the Saw films is just a plus to me. Whether it's there or not, I still love the movies and I still love the plot.
