Welcome, I'm a fellow reviewer, or will be.

Hi All, I just joined today as well. We've got to get the discussions going in the books forum. No one's been in there since December. I've been doing a lot more reading lately and have found that there are a few authors out there writing some great, brutal stores that no one ever talks about...Wrath James White, Edward Lee.

Glad to have such a fan Wink, hope to see said reviews soon!
“The Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audience’s deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... I’d better stop before I give myself nightmares”

memzo, which did you like better? The book or the movie? Would you recommend reading the book after seeing the film?

I recommend reading the book first - there's so much more in it. I think a third of the book was developed for film.. but the book explores other characters (that don't feature heavily in the film) in depth - they're stories. I'm enjoying it. The film is beautiful. I loved it too, I'm all over it, have it on blu ray. Go with the book first chick - enjoy x
