halloween franchise

I personally like the Halloween 2 Remake! I like how you cannot tell what is a dream for reality.
I like how Sherri Moon Zombie has to play this weird ghost, I like how he lets her be in all of his films.
I like how they have to say fuck, gd fuck, shit, every 5 minutes... That film is such a CLASSIC!

I'll start by saying the original is my all-time favorite horror film.

HII is the best sequel, imo. It feels like a continuation of part 1.

H3 is one of the worst horror films I've seen, easily in my top 10 worst ever.

H4 I liked, because it has elements that made the first two likeable. Also makes H3 seem irrelevant.

H5 I have a soft spot for due to Michael becoming more aggressive with his kills. That doesn't mean it isn't flawed, does have the "Mayberry" type cop duo that aren't funny and add nothing to the story.

H6 is Michael at his most brutal. I know the whole Thorn theory turns people away, but I didn't mind it. The mysterious man in black though was stretching it.

H20 does ignore 4-6, however, I put it 3rd behind 1 & 2. The story was handled well and didn't have the extra fluff of previous films. The best aspect is that Michael isn't the focal point or main character - less camera time works great here.

Resurrection is awful, add in Busta Rhymes' absolutely horrible & annoying performance ..... it's a mess of a movie.

As for the so-called "remakes", "re-imaginings" or whatever the hell RZ calls them - not worth the time.
